We can't see your files.

Not "we promise to delete them." Not "encrypted in transit." Your files never leave your device in the first place. Here is everything this site does and doesn't know about you.

Your files

Every tool on this site runs inside your browser. A file you drop is opened in your browser's memory, processed on your device, and saved straight back to your Downloads folder. It is never transmitted anywhere, so there is nothing for us to store, leak, sell, or hand over. Turn on airplane mode and convert something if you want proof, or follow the 20-second walkthrough on the proof page.

What the site stores on your device

Two small settings live in your browser's local storage: whether you turned Auto-download on, and a running total of the bytes these tools have saved you. When you send a result from one tool to another, the file passes through your browser's own local database and is deleted as soon as the next page picks it up. All of this stays on your machine, and clearing the site's data in your browser wipes it completely.

What loads from elsewhere

The conversion libraries and fonts are static files served from public CDNs (jsDelivr for code, Google Fonts for type). Fetching them is a normal web request, the same as loading any page on the internet, and those servers never receive your files. They serve code to your browser; your browser does the rest alone.

Analytics, cookies, ads

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools people actually use, so we know what to build next. It sets a cookie and tells us things like "someone used the HEIC converter today." It cannot see your files, because your files never go anywhere in the first place. Run an ad blocker if you prefer; every tool works exactly the same without it.

There are no ads on this site. If that ever changes, this page will change first and will say exactly what's collected and by whom.
